Administration

Tiffany Nickel, Principal
I’m excited to have been appointed Principal of R. Brown McAllister STEM Elementary, and I’m grateful to continue serving this amazing community in this role. I have had the privilege of working as an elementary educator for over 20 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo in New York State and my master’s degree from Gardner-Webb University.
In my time in education I have served as an elementary classroom teacher, a district math specialist, and an assistant principal here at R. Brown McAllister STEM Elementary. Each of these roles has shaped my belief in high expectations, strong instructional practices, and the importance of relationships in helping every child succeed.
As Principal, my goal is to continue fostering a school culture rooted in collaboration, growth, and excellence. I deeply value the strong sense of community we have at R. Brown McAllister STEM Elementary and the meaningful partnerships between our school and families. Working together, we can ensure that our students continue to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. It is an honor to serve as your principal.
Elizabeth Schriver, Assistant Principal

Hi Bobcats! I am Mrs. Elizabeth (Liz) Schriver and am honored to serve the R Brown McAllister family as one of your assistant principals. After graduating from Penn State University (go Nittany Lions!), I began my teaching career in 2008 teaching fifth grade in Baltimore, Maryland. I moved to North Carolina in 2009 where I taught in New Bern and China Grove until joining Cabarrus County School in 2015 as a third-grade teacher at Odell Elementary. I most recently served as Odell Primary's MTSS Coach for the last three years and earned my master's in school administration from Gardner-Webb University. I live in Kannapolis with my husband, 2 children, and 3 dogs. I am excited to become a part of the R Brown McAllister STEM family and get to know our students and families. Please reach out if there is anything I can help you with!
Allysea Thompson, Assistant Principal

My name is Allysea Thompson, and I am honored to serve as one of your Assistant Principals at R. Brown McAllister STEM Elementary School. I am excited to join this school community and partner with staff and families to support the academic growth and social-emotional well-being of every child.
I bring nearly a decade of experience in public education, including roles as a 1st and 3rd grade teacher at Coltrane-Webb STEM Elementary and a 3rd grade Extended Reach Teacher (ERT) at W.R. Odell 3–5. These experiences have reinforced my belief that strong school-home relationships, engaging instruction, and supportive learning environments are essential for student success.
You will often see me around the building—welcoming students, visiting classrooms, and connecting with families. I value open communication and collaboration and look forward to supporting every Bobcat as they learn, grow, and thrive!
