In order to prepare for the 2026-27 school year, we require all parents and guardians to confirm their transportation plans, even if your child currently rides the bus. Again this year, we will be collecting this information electronically through ParentSquare. Please be on the lookout on the evening of March 29th for this form to arrive in a ParentSquare post. 

The deadline for submitting this form will be Thursday, April 30, 2026. All requests made after this date must be made in-person at your school.

Dear Families,

This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Humor. Humor means enjoying laughter and bringing smiles to others.

Humor helps us see the lighter side of things, making tough times easier and more fun. It doesn't mean you have to tell jokes, but people with humor often notice the funny moments in life and share them with others. Humor can lift people's spirits and help them through challenges. It’s important to help students understand how to use humor in a kind way, to lift others up, and never at someone else's expense.

To practice and encourage the character strength of humor at home, please visit The Positivity Project’s mobile-friendly P2 for Families (available in English and Spanish), where you will watch a video together and discuss a quote and three questions. Below are links to this week’s P2 for Families lessons. Click on the grade level that best meets your child’s needs.

If you have or know a future Bobcat who will turn 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026, we encourage you to complete their registration as early as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year! Early registration also helps us to ensure that we receive the correct teacher allotment from the state and are able to plan for our Bobcats over the summer. Below are on-site registration events. You may also enroll your student independently through the online scribbles platform. We can't wait to meet our newest Bobcats!

All rising kindergarten students and their families should plan to arrive promptly at 4:30 to meet our teachers and learn more about what to expect as a future bobcat. 

Ms. Stephanie Glover is nominated for Bobcat of the Month. Ms. Glover is a valued member of the RBM community who leads with kindness, warmth, and wisdom. She is a dedicated and nurturing kindergarten teacher whose patience and positive presence create a welcoming environment for both students and colleagues. Her commitment to ensuring every student feels loved, supported, and valued is evident each day, making her truly deserving of recognition.

Ms. Cathy Austin is nominated for the Brave Bobcat award! Ms. Austin is a dependable and supportive team member who is always willing to help wherever needed. She consistently steps in to support teachers and Instructional Assistants. Her positive attitude and willingness to say “yes” make our team stronger.
